Jason Euell was born on 6 February 1977 in Lambeth, London. He currently plays as a striker/midfielder for Charlton Athletic.

Jason began his career at Wimbledon where he progressed through the youth ranks and was a member of the infamous Crazy Gang. He scored on his first team debut in 1995 and went on to make eight appearances that season.

Jason made the same amount of appearances in the following 1996-1997 season and continued to progress in the 1997-1998 season, scoring eight goals in 23 appearances. The 1998-1999 campaign saw Jason fully establish himself in the Wimbledon first team where he scored ten goals in 43 appearances. He went on to make 181 appearances for Wimbledon scoring 47 goals.

After six years at Wimbledon, Jason signed for Charlton Athletic at the beginning of the 2001-2002 season for a club record of £4.75 million. In his first three seasons of the five he spent at Charlton, Jason finished as top goal scorer and when he left in 2006 had made 155 appearances, scoring 37 goals.

Jason left Charlton to join Middlesbrough where he played for one season, before joining Southampton in 2007 where he scored five goals in 65 appearances.

In July 2009 Jason signed for Championship side Blackpool and made his debut the following month. He was a regular in Holloway's team for the entire campaign and was made Club Captain. The side were promoted to the Premier League, when they beat Cardiff 3-2 in the Championship play-offs in May 2010.

After representing England in the U-20 World Cup he then made four appearances for England U-21s. Jason decided to play senior international football for Jamaica, the place of his father's birth. He was capped three times and scored one goal against Ghana in 2006.

Away from football Jason is a Patron for Jigsaw4U, a charity which supports children and young people through loss and trauma whilst encouraging them to make decisions about their own lives. He is also a Patron for “Show Racism The Red Card” and newly appointed as an Ambassador for “Kick It Out”.

After a loan spell with Doncaster Rovers in February 2011 to the end of 2010 / 2011 season Jason signed a one year contract for his former club Charlton Athletic on 10th August 2011.
