Steven Gerrard: My Captain’s Book is a unique and personal insight into life as captain of Liverpool Football Club.
In this official book, Steven Gerrard gives his own personal views on what is needed to become a captain; what the role involves both on and off the pitch and reveals what happens inside the dressing room. He talks exclusively about his early inspirations, other captains that have influenced him and his pride at being given the armband.
Steven said: “Every time we win a football match and I am wearing the armband, the feeling and the buzz is unbelievable. I’m 28 now and believe I can still become a better captain from here.”
