Having previously worked for the International Cricket Council, The FA and MTC Sports Management where she looked after some of Britain’s top athletes, Pippa has extensive knowledge and experience of the sports industry.
For 5 years, up until the end of the 2006/07 season she worked for Chelsea Football Club in their communications department looking after all the club’s media relations.
During Pippa’s time at Chelsea she built key relationships with agents, sponsors, clubs and journalists both nationally and internationally.
At Chelsea she worked with two owners, two managers and seventy first team players, seeing them achieve six competition wins, as well as managing some of the biggest football stories of the last few years.
Caroline is respected and well established in sports PR, having been involved in the industry for over ten years. Her clients have included some of the biggest names in football. Of particular note is the work she did with David Beckham to rebuild his public image following his World Cup sending off in 1998. Over eight years Caroline worked closely with Beckham’s agent to boost his international profile and help promote his image both in the media and with his sponsors.
She also worked with Freddie Ljungberg for five years, again building an outstanding international profile and securing for him the very prestigious Calvin Klein underwear campaign.
Caroline has fantastic relationships with sponsors due to her daily dealings with them on behalf of her clients – most notably: Nike, Calvin Klein, Adidas, Puma and Pepsi. Fluent in French, she has acted as a consultant for a number of French agents in the UK.
